Burden Ballard Jr. ,69, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on June 16th, 2021 after a brave battle with lung and brain cancer.
Burden “Butch” Ballard Jr. was born on June 4th, 1952 to Burden Ballard Sr and Willie Adelle Fields in Macon, Georgia.
In 1980, Butch met Rochelle ”Renee” Kyles, and they wed on August 12, 2008 and again March 27, 2021. If you know them, you know 2 weddings still did not express the love they had for each other.
Butch & Renee went on to raise 5 children, Demetrius, Marlan , Kashuna , Precious and Ashley.
Burden Ballard opened Yadeno Clean and Sober ONE in 2012 and their second Yadeno Home in 2008. His Yadeno homes helped hundreds of men conquer sobriety, return to the workforce, and make amends to their families.
Anyone who knew Butch knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of the life he and Renee built in Arizona as well as their children and their grandchildren.
Butch was predeceased by his Mother Adele Fields , Sister Sandra Fields-Mitchell and Mother in Law Lottie Nelson.
Burden Ballard leaves to cherish his memories: Wife Rochelle “Renee” Ballard; Sister Terri Holman (Johnny Holman); Son Demetrius Turner (Dawn Turner) ; Daughters Marlan Kyles , Kashuna Hopkins (Lloyd Hopkins), Precious Ballard (Marlon Mask) , Ashley Ballard (George Loving) and Angel Mason Broadus (Kristine Mason Broadus) ; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host nieces, nephews and friends.
